Part 4: Test, measure, improve · 11 min
Launch small enough to learn from reality
Turn your plan into a small live test, then improve the largest point of friction rather than adding more complexity.
A launch checklist, one success measure, and a short review rhythm for your first real enquiries.
Test the experience, not just the setup
Complete the form on a phone. Read every confirmation and follow-up as if you are a customer who has never met your business. Check where a reply lands, who sees it, and whether the next action works. A launch is not complete because the automation is switched on.
Use a small first audience
Send a limited amount of real traffic before trying to scale. This gives you a chance to observe confusion, incomplete forms, slow handovers, and messages that sound wrong. The first job of a launch is to learn, not to prove that the system is perfect.
- ✓ Submit a test enquiry from a phone
- ✓ Check the confirmation and each follow-up
- ✓ Confirm the team can see and own replies
- ✓ Try the booking or payment action
- ✓ Choose one small traffic source for the first test
Improve the first broken step
Do not change five things at once. Watch the journey: form completion, replies, qualified conversations, then the finish line you chose in lesson one. Identify the largest drop-off and change one part of the system. This is how an ordinary first setup becomes a dependable process.
WORKED EXAMPLE • FICTIONAL BUSINESS
The same provider: test the first ten enquiries
The team has a clear reply and handover plan. It now needs evidence that people can move through the journey without confusion.
The automation is switched on, so we can increase the advertising budget.
We will test ten relevant enquiries, check the customer experience, and review one bottleneck before increasing traffic.
- Safety tests
Try a normal enquiry, a reply, an opt-out, an attachment, and a message outside opening hours. Confirm that the right person can see each one and that inappropriate reminders stop.
- Worked measurement
Suppose ten enquiries produce six useful conversations and three bookings. The enquiry-to-booking rate is 3 ÷ 10 × 100 = 30%. These are fictional numbers for learning, not a target or a promised result.
- Find the cause
If four people never received a useful answer, fix response coverage before changing the advert. If everyone gets an answer but cannot choose a day, investigate availability or the offer.
- Review
Compare the next batch with the starting evidence from lesson one. Record the change, who made it, and what happened; small samples suggest questions rather than prove success.
Now apply these decisions to your own offer in the workbook below. Your price, timing, channel, and team coverage will be different.
How these decisions map to Mycheta
You can study these steps without a live account. Use them when you choose the self-service subscription route, or discuss them with Clixales during paid setup.
- Choose a subscription before connecting a real number. Check the billing and connection requirements for your plan on the pricing page.
- Run the checklist with a test lead before directing real customers into the flow. Verify the form, message timing, inbox visibility, reply handling, and staff access.
- Use Analytics and the inbox to review progress, then compare it with your chosen booking or other finish line. Mycheta activity alone is not proof of a sale.
YOUR LEAD-RESPONSE BLUEPRINT
Blueprint step 4: Create the launch plan
Keep the first launch deliberately small. You are earning evidence, not trying to automate the whole business in one day.Complete when: You know what you will test, who will watch the replies, and which one number tells you whether the journey is moving forward.
Put the idea into practice
Answer both questions to complete this lesson. You will get an explanation for each answer and can retry. Your workbook notes are separate from your quiz score.
